Human Resources Consultant for HR4non-profits
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced HR professional to join our Human Resources team. This highly motivated and influential business partner will join our team of HR consultants. The HR consultant will function as a generalist in the human resources field by providing leadership, strategy and counsel to businesses in all areas of HR including employee relations, benefits, training, staffing, compensation and organizational development. The HR consultant partners with clients to diagnose business problems and recommend, develop, and implement appropriate HR strategies and solutions which improve business results for our clients.
Core Responsibilities:
- Partners with others in Human Resources to provide timely delivery of HR services that directly support the accomplishment of enterprise-wide, business and department objectives.
- Serves as the primary point of contact between departments and Human Resources.
- Consults with business partners to identify people issues and provide tailored "people solutions" to meet business objectives.
- Strengthens internal systems and infrastructure.
- Demonstrates flexibility and a willingness to learn new methods for achieving HR solutions that help drive business and organizational success.
- Recommends, counsels and assists management regarding leadership development, labor and employee relations, workforce planning and design, process improvements, succession planning, performance management, compensation and benefits, diversity, and staffing and recruiting.
- Utilizes computer technology to streamline process improvements and delivery of HR services to clients.
- Functions as project manager coordinating special Human Resource initiatives as needed.
- Ensures compliance with federal and state laws and regulations, including FMLA, FLSA, ADA, EEO, etc.
- Assists management with job descriptions, delivery of salary administration and planning decisions and training.
- Conducts administrative management duties associated with being a team member of a professional staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related discipline
- Self-motivated, strong work ethic, positive attitude and familiarity with non profit organizations
- 5 years of directly related experience in all areas of Human Resources, including Employee Relations, Training and Development, Staffing, Compensation, Benefits and Organizational Development.
- PHR certification is preferred but not required
- Strong interpersonal skills, including building relationships with senior leadership
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proven experience in group presentations and group facilitation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, HRIS software, and social networking

Job Summary:
The HR Intern will provide support to business improvement practices and infrastructure. The intern will be very resourceful, innovative, forward-thinking and committed to the HR profession. The duration of the Internship is 6-8 weeks. This is a great opportunity to start your HR career and develop transferrable and marketable skills.
Core Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain administrative processes, systems and processes that allow effective management of all data, reporting requirements and documentation, including data for new prospective and new clients.

- Assist in implementing HR policies and procedures
- Coordinate all recruitment activities
- Research best practices
- Monitor legislative trends
- Be accessible and respond to consultants/manager enquiries in a timely manner

Requirements:
- Major in Human Resources, business

Chief Financial Officer -CFO
Job Summary:
As a key member of the Executive Management team, the Chief Financial Officer will report to the President and assume a strategic role in the overall management of the company. The CFO will have primary day-to- day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company. This will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, auditing, revenue planning, reporting, deal analysis and negotiations, investor relationships and partnership development and compliance. This position is located in Chicago.
Core Responsibilities:
- Provides leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives.
- Ensure credibility of finance department by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts.
- Take hands-on lead position of developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive financial strategic plan.
- Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the organization.
- Evaluates and advises on the impact of long range planning, introduction of new programs/ strategies and regulatory action.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives so as to identify their needs and seek full range of business solutions.
- Identify and build revenue streams
- Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities.
- Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets and consolidation and reporting to the Company.
- Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.
- Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
Qualifications:
- BS in Accounting or Finance, MBA and/or CPA highly desirable
- 10+ years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles
- Highly proficient in technology (Excel, accounting systems etc.)
- Experience in hospital or medical environment

MARKETING INTERN - 2012
Job Summary:
Objective: To help promote HR4NON-PROFITS to the Midwest region while building skills related to marketing, advertising and promotion.
Hours: 30 hours per week. Typically 4 days per week. Schedule is flexible.
Compensation: Internship position is not compensated, but any required or necessary paperwork will be completed to provide college credits. Intern will also receive a bonus at the end of the internship assignment.
Operations Manager
Program Eligibility & Submission:
- Students interested in the field of marketing/communications
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
- Some web design/graphic design background but not required
- Must be very experienced in social networking
- Familiar with creating flyers and promotional material preferred
- Must enjoy working with the public
